| Details: | Complainant stated they had intermittent water service for for a month, with no water for the past 2 weeks. When he calls the owners, they claim that people use too much water, there are bad valves that need to be repaired, or that the City or Rainier is responsible. They claimed the City sent out a repair crew on 8/21/2019, however the complainant checked with the City and confirmed no such repair crew was sent out. The complainant called both the Sheriff's department and the City of Rainier Police, neither of which were aware of any police report filed with their departments by the park ownership regarding the reservoir break-in. This runs contrary to the initial information provided to the County by the park manager, Christian Torres. He claimed they filed a police report on 8/14/2019. Complainant also mentioned they have never received a notice of any kind from the park. The only notice they have ever received is the one the County distributed on 8/15/2019. When the complainant calls the park owner's office, they get a different story or they hand up on the complainant. This complainant's rent also rose from $580 to $700 this year.The justification was that it was to cover the cost of park repairs, replacing valves for the water system, etc. |
