| Details: | On Thursday, 8-22-19, I received a call from David Nordman regarding a total coliform positive routine sample taken on 8-20-19 at the Wayside Park Bathroom Sink. Three repeat samples are going to be taken Friday (8-23-19). The bathroom sink does not have a removable aerator, so we discussed identifying a different sampling location to replace that location as a routine sample site, which has had positive results before (see 7-9-19 Contact Report). I recommended that he flame the end of the faucet or disinfect it and flush it prior to taking the sample to avoid positives resulting from the aerator. David said he had the after-hours contact info to be able to contact OHA - Drinking Water Services staff staff if needed when they get the repeat results back on Saturday. Action needed: System to take 3 repeat samples tomorrow and contact OHA-DWS staff on Saturday if the repeat results are also positive. | ||
