| Details: | Phone number is for Michael Paul since complainant did not leave number. Received complaint regarding lack of water service this weekend. The complainant stated the office in Vancouver for park management has stated that they will not authorize John Mohammad, onsite manager, to purchase bottled water for distribution to residents. If he wishes to do so, it will be from his own pocket according to the complaint. The complainant also stated that the owners of the park addressed John Mohammad, stating that if he suggests to the tenants they should withhold rent or ask for a comped rate, he will be terminated. The complainant also alleged that the owner, Michael Werner commented on the situation in the park stating that residents should pack up and leave if they don't like how things are being handled. Complainant also stated there has been some confusion about the 'do not drink notice' and some tenants are drinking and cooking with the water. I reiterated the 'do not drink notice' is still in effect and should be observed by all tenants until they receive a letter from either the County or the park management stating it is safe to drink the water. Informed complainant of the letter being sent to park management. I will call John Mohammad to inform of required actions to bring the system back into compliance and lift the 'do not drink notice.' |
