| Details: | The following email message was sent: Hi Gary, I'm following up on a sample showing coliform present at Anderson Mt. The follow-up sampling protocol includes: I-ASAP Collect 3 repeat samples, 1 coming from the same tap as the 8/26 sample and the other up and down stream within a few residences as the 8/26 tap. Ideally this sampling would be done today (8/29). II-ASAP Collect a source sample. this would be collected from a tap prior to where chlorine is ever added. III-If coliform shows up in any of the 3 repeat samples, it confirms the 8/26 result is valid and there is "something to fix" [so then do the fixing]. IV-In the month of September collect 3 temporary routine samples. If "fixing's" needed as per III, it's important to do so before collecting the September samples. BTW. The source sample described in II will meet the annual source sample requirement. If you are no longer the guy leading the efforts for anderson mt water, I'd be grateful if you'd point me to the right person. thx! |
