| Details: | 10:20 am Called this morning and talked to Jake Obrist. Positive total coliform during routine monthly sampling. The facility did a flush / blow out lines at the distal ends of town and submitted three repeat samples and source sample. Waiting for test results. Next Steps: Waiting for lab results. Jake Obrist to start working on a reaction plan if repeat samples come back positive. September 17, 3pm. Two of the distal samples came back as still positive for Total Coliform. Source is negative for Total Coliform. Operator plans to continue blow out of dead end lines where samples were positive. He will also take repeat samples and retest. Operator plans to take other ‘special’ samples from other distal ends of the distribution system to see if any other problem areas. Sept. 19 9am Source sample is clean. Still getting Total Coliform positive at distal end of system. Jake will retest and start to work on a Level II trigger investigation. Sept 23. 9am Level 1 coliform investigation form submitted by Operator, Jake Obrist. |
