| Details: | Talked to Nancy and Jeff Johnston at the park. They will take 3 repeat samples: one at Space #16, one sample within 5 connections upstream and one sample within 5 connections downstream fro Space #16. Update: The repeat samples were driven to Eugene Tuesday 9/24/2019. Waiting for the results. The chlorinator is working. Nancy measures free chlorine daily; it has not been below .3ppm. The samples with the fecal coliform bacteria had .9ppm. Need to figure out contact time. The water is turbid. Cannot see the bottom of the holding tank. People do not tend to drink the water. The Johnstons let people know when they arrive that the water does not taste good. In general people are drinking bottled water. The Johnstons are planning to rebuild the water system. I told them about plan review with the Drinking Water Program. Will give them Jay MacPherson's contact information. 9/27/2019 Talked to Nancy Johnston. Repeat samples were negative for coliform bacteria. They will take 3 temporary routine sample in October 2019. |
