| Details: | The operator contacted me about the high TTHM sample result. I let him know that a MCL for TTHM is determined by a running annual average rather than from a single sample. He asked if they could stop chlorinating to resolve the disinfection by-products. The system has an approved UV system. I consulted with OHA & the chlorination had not been required back in 2008. The system can stop chlorinating & the DBP sampling schedule can end. The DBP schedule will end 12/31/19. I will the operator know to take a 4th quarter sample to verify the absence of DBP's. | ||
