| Details: | 9/6/19 called Sonny and finding him out of town discussed general need to begin quarterly samples for DBP. I promised to provide more details upon his return at start of week. 9/9/19 communications to Sonny re DBP: Start collecting DBP samples on a quarterly basis. you can return to annual sampling when 4 samples in a row stay below 0.045 mg/l for HAA5 and below 0.060 mg/l for TTHM. 4 quarters in a row below those stated thresholds is the requirement. You can follow your district protocol and start quarterly samples for DBP now. Nothing prohibits it. You'll want a management system in place [for flushing, reducing water volume in tanks, etc) and for the DBP samples to be indicative of the management system's effectiveness. Make sure the timing on that next DBP sample is logical to you. |
