| Details: | 10/1/19 J menendez email reply to r hallmark Rick, So far we have done the following: Using a small tractor I scraped all the vegetation from the spring area, dug new ditches around the front and left side of the spring tank and Tim cleared out the ditches on the far side of the spring area to remove the puddles and allow for good draining of runoff, he also shaped the front ditches and made the area near the tank lid slope away so no water or debris will accumulate near the tank top. I have purchased materials to install a seal and more fasteners around the tank top of the spring tank to prevent crawling insects from getting into the tank Also Tim has sealed the perimeter of the cistern enclosure and I have materials to create dams around the lid and holes in the cistern. Tim will repair screens in vents and at overflow pipe and we are installing a new roof to make sure there are no leaks. All these corrections should be completed this week. Later I will figure a new way to attach, seal and lock the lids to the storage tank. and change the fencing around the spring. I will plan to disinfect the spring tank as you outline within 2 weeks. |
