| Details: | In response to Alert: Coli19443, I reached out by phone to Baumans Farm and Garden. I was able to speak to a son of the owner. I informed him that it looked like their Quarterly Routine came back positive for total coliform. We discussed the the system's Revised Total Coliform Plan and the requirement for 3 Repeat Samples from Distribution and 1 Triggered Source Sample. We discussed testing methodology, recent events that could have impacted the well including rain and loss of power, and I promised to send a follow up email with attachments. I have sent Brian and Barbara an email covering the items discussed during the phone call as well as supporting documents including a blank revised total coliform plan, recommended sampling technique, a level 1 investigation form and a blank copy of a coliform public notice worksheet. I explained that neither the Level 1 Investigation or the Public Notice were required by rule at this time. | ||
