| Details: | I asked for an update on the SW treatment and operation installed recently, per the Bilateral Compliance Agreement. These were the responses: All the equipment is in and working, though the site has not been cleaned up yet. The installation contractor (Dave Funderburk) was intending to do some on-site training with a couple of the local residents who do the daily treatment monitoring, but they have had scheduling conflicts. The Water District has not yet sent out a notice to inform their customers that the new treatment is in place, which will get the water system back into compliance. Additional requirements will be met once: a) they begin submitting the monthly treatment reports that match their new treatment (slow sand filter + UV), Daniel says that will be the case for the month of October; and b) they submit a Designation form for a DRC (a Level 1 certified operator is needed for both treatment and distribution). Daniel says they are in discussion with Ernie Newton, but no contract yet. |
