| Details: | On 11.13.2019 Mr. Law contacted me yesterday inquiring about the need to collect a nitrate sample for this year. I informed Mr. Law that the system is no longer required to collect nitrate samples nor quarterly coliform samples. I have discussed their case with the DWS office and the determination at this point is that At Rivers Edge RV Resort water system would no longer be classified as a purchasing water system. Additional information provided by the operator: The water system is only using Harbor Water District water for drinking water purposes. The RV Park, the owner's house the 2 yurts, cabins, restrooms and RV sites are all connected to City water. The house and the RV Park are located on two different tax lots (1201 and 1202). Harbor Water has one water meter supplying the house and the RV Park. The RV Park has an additional meter to detect leaks in the system. I suggested deactivating their system from the DWS Database, but Mr. Law requested to leave their system active because he is still working on getting a well driller to drill a new water source. Their system will remain active in the DWS Database. The system as decided to continue collecting quarterly Coliform samples. I advised the operator to contact the State DWS office to update them on the new well project. |
