| Details: | Willie Kelsey from Island Cove RV Park aka Island Community LLC (PWS# 41-05639) called us on 11/14/19 and asked to follow up about a water system survey inspection which was done earlier. Willie told me that the Operation and Maintenance Manual is being finished up, that the screened vent has been installed on the well and also that the sanitary seal on the wellhead is not yet added and secured. He asked if it was possible for me or someone for the county to visit the water system to evaluate its current state. I told Willie that it would be preferred if, at this time, he were to just send us photos of the well and surrounding areas via email, and that once the sanitary seal is installed and secured, and the O&M Manual is complete, etc., then perhaps we could discuss a revisit, potentially. Also, he inquired about the system being changed from a "Transient Non-community" to a "Community" level water system; I checked SDWIS/Data Online and according to our record for the system it is currently already listed as a "Community System". I told him that I would check and get back to him regarding the next steps about this situation. Willie also mentioned that when the water tanks run out of water, they send a notice that the and that it usually refills with water again in about 3 1/2 hours. This situation needs to be addressed and I will report back to him with appropriate corrective action. |
