| Details: | Routine quarterly nitrate from EP-A on 11/12 10.7. Spoke with Brett and he will take confirmation sample this week. EP-A comprises well 2 and 2a. Only the smaller well 2a is on during low demand during the winter. Water system staff has a different naming convention for the wells. What SDWIS calls well 2, they call 2a and what SDWIS calls 2a they call 2b. The confirmation sample slip will reference well #2 although it will be taken when only well 2a is on so it is a true repeat sample of the same source. Brett will also take a sample from the older larger well to compare results. System should rename wells to be consistent with the naming on SDWIS. The older well (1979) is #2 and the newer smaller well (2007) is 2a. Results from confirmation sample and original will be averaged to dictate further action. | ||
