Details: Called and left a voice message for Nathan asking him to take a confirmation sample for TETRACHLOROETHYLENE asap. WS may need to begin quarterly monitoring for TETRACHLOROETHYLENE based on confirmation sample results. Without a confirmation sample they will have to move to quarterly monitoring for a year to determine compliance.

11/22 I spoke with Nathan on the phone and found out he collected the sample prior to treatment (air stripping tower). I consulted with OHA DWS and informed Nathan to collect a confirmation sample for TETRACHLOROETHYLENE after treatment. If the sample is ND then the WS could return to regular VOC monitoring. Nathan said he would follow up with the lab next week but said it may take a little longer to get results with it being Thanksgiving week.

12/20 I received results for a round of VOCs collected on 12/5 after the treatment plant. All results were ND. All VOCs will remain on a 3 year monitoring schedule, due again in 2022.
