| Details: | I returned a phone call from Willie Kelsey, he attempted to forward photos of the water system to me which were automatically rejected by the email system. I told him that while I figure out what happened, he may forward the photos to another email address: health@columbiacountyor.gov Willie said that the person from the company that installed the system has his small system operator certificate now. He also clarified that it isn't the well that is running dry, but the reservoir/holding tanks do occasionally run dry and generally refill with water in around 3 1/2 hours. The system used to switch to bypass to make up for lack of water, temporarily he said, but stopped doing that. He said that a screened vent is now on the wellhead and a silicone layer has been added to the wellhead as a sanitary seal, and he will forward us pictures of the water system updates for review. |
