| Details: | I conducted a water system survey on 9/26/19. They had lead and copper results that were reported to the Oregon Dept of Education. I did not notice a result that exceeded the action level at that time. On 10/9/19 an alert was issued for the lead action level exceedance. The owner indicated she sampled a utility sink in the kitchen that was not intended for drinking water. I met with the daycare owner on 10/15 to discuss next steps. The formal compliance letter was issued on 10/28/19. I met with the owner again on 11/5/19 to review their compliance letter. They indicated at that time their intent to pursue a plumbing replacement program. The owner is taking WQP tests as required. I spoke to Edge Analytical who is testing the system on 11/26/19. The first round of WQP testing is complete. They are aware that the second round is due by 12/9/19. I will continue to work with the system until compliance is completed. |
