| Details: | Triggered source sample from new well and same location as original routine both positive 12/3. Emailed Annie and George and recommended chlorinating well and reservoir. Once all chlorine is out of system, take two follow up samples from well and same location at 62354 Wallace. These should be labeled as repeats. System just installed new well and hauled water into reservoir for several weeks during construction. The new well and/or hauling water could be sources of coliforms. A survey was conducted 12/2 and no physical deficiencies noted. Although, there is some spalling of the concrete on the reservoir. I will submit a level 2 investigation based on what was observed during the 12/3 survey site visit. System had positive routine and repeat samples in September, but this was during the time water was being hauled to the reservoir every week. These samples were not truly representative of normal system operation. If follow up samples show absent for bacteria, resume normal 1/month coliform sampling. | ||
