Assistance Type: OTHER REGULATORY - Follow up inquiry about Well #2 being reactivated
Reasons: Operations

Details: I spoke with Steve regarding the Riverwood MHP (also known as Laurelridge MHP) system; Steve inquired about the steps necessary to put the currently inactive Well #2 back online on the system. He says the intent is to blend the water sources, and says he recently had water samples from that well collected for SOCs, VOCs and source bac-t.
I told Steve that when I discussed Well #2 with a representative of the State DWP, I was told the well wasn't sealed deep enough (50') and the water quantity output was low. Also, we couldn't find documentation that the inactive well was properly evaluated by the State's hydrogeologist and engineers. So therefore, Plan Review was recommended for inactive Well #2, but I told Steve I would review our file to see if I can find any documentation of any of the above.
He also says there was a sanitary survey for this system was done last year, and Sloan Nelson is still the owner but that he (Steve) is the DRC for the system. Riverwood MHP also seems to have to changed its name to "Laurelridge Mobile Home Park".
