| Details: | SUMMARY: 1/4 RP samples collected in response to a recent RT (+) TC was also (+) = TC MCL DETAILS: John called and left a message reporting that the PWS recd notice that 1 of 4 repeat samples collected in response to a recent (+) total coliform routine sample was also (+) total coliform. He indicated that the two (+) samples were collected from the same sample site - possible invalidation? I called and left him a message indicating that this is currently considered a total coliform MCL and requires that public notice be done. In addition, I gave him contact and phone number info for Dept of Ag (regulating agency - Ellen Laymon @ 503-986-4720). Also indicated that PWS should disinfect system before taking additional repeat samples to further investigate/evaluate. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to contact DWP - Portland or Dept of Ag for further info on Public Notification and corrective action requirements. | ||
