| Details: | SUMMARY: pH meter malfunctioning, delay in l/c sampling round. DETAILS: Carolyn Pape called to report that their pH meter has been malfunctioning. pH at the source (raw) is in the 8s (which is way off from their actual raw) and an increase in caustic soda dose did not change the pH according to their meter. They are looking into purchasing a new meter and are also getting assistance from Don Henry, operator at Deerhorn WA #4100833. Once they get a pH meter with a temperature compensating electrode that is reliable and consistent in use, they will make sure pH is in target of mid 7s and collect a full round of lead/copper samples. Their goal is to get the sampling round done by the end of January 2006 in order to get their second round in by 7/1/06 when their AO extension expires. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to track progress and check on pH meter and sampling round in January 2006. | ||
