| Details: | SUMMARY: Boil water warning rescinded effective 4 pm 1/24. DETAILS: We inspected the system and collected 6 coliforms samples. One sample at each of the 2 supply wells, and 4 from the distribution system. On 1/24 the lab reported that the sample collected at the old well was TC+. The well is used very little in the winter but may have been the cause of the fecal violation. After collecting samples on 1/23 4 oz of calcium hypochlorite was placed in the reservoir. Pedro Zabala (Hines) measured a residual of 0.3 mg/l chlorine on 1/24. ACTION NEEDED: The old well has been shut off until coliform samples indicate the well is free of coliform. Five routine samples to be collected in February. | ||
