| Details: | Mike Slibsager called to notify us that he is retiring in June 2020 and wanted to know what is needed for him to continue as the contract DRC. I sent an e-mail to Mike on 12-26-19 detailing all the requirements. Currently, Netarts requires a treatment DRC with a WT-2 with Filtration Endorsement certified operator (or a WT-3 or a WT-4 would also work). Netarts also needs a distribution DRC with a WD-2 certification. The treatment and distribution DRC do not need to be the same person. Mike may continue to act as the DRC for the water system, but would need to have 3 things in place: 1. A contract between Mike and Netarts specifying Mike as the DRC under contract. The e-mail included a link to a contract template on the DWS website. 2. Written under-certified operator protocols for remaining operators who are not certified at the level the treatment and distribution system needs. The e-mail included a link to a protocol template on the DWS website. 3. Notify our office of any operator changes within 30 days. A link to the DRC designation form available on the DWS website was included in the e-mail. |
