| Details: | SUMMARY: Operator reports confirmatory nitrate sample was 5.1 mg/L. DETAILS: The confirmatory nitrate sample was taken 11/08/05 to follow up on the sample taken on 10/31/05, which had exceed the MCL. The confirmatory sample result was 5.1 mg/L, and was collected at the entry point at well # 4. Tom states that the first sample was collected at well # 1, which is not being used as a drinking water source ( irrigation only). The 5.1 mg/L results is in agreement with historical nitrate sample results. System did quarterly nitrate monitoring in 1996 with the highest NO3 in November. September has been sampling for NO3 consistently in the fourth quarter since then. | ||
