Details: | Coli Sampling Schedule increased to monthly. On 01.14.2020 I contacted Mr. Schleining via email to inform him that his water system coliform sampling schedule has been increased from quarterly to monthly. The operator did not turn in quarterly samples for the 4th quarter of 2018, the 2nd quarter of 2019, and the 3rd quarter of 2019. The system received an Opportunity Letter after the end of June to stay on quarterly sampling, and did collect a makeup sample in July (to make up for the missing 2nd Q sample), but did not submit a routine 3rd Q sample. Because of this, the water system will remain on an increase monitoring schedule until they can collect 12 consecutive months of coliform sampling with no M&R violations or coliform investigations triggered. The system must also have no priority source-related deficiencies verified by a site visit or photos. Once these conditions are met, I will submit a schedule change request to DMCE. Mr. Schleining was advised to communicate this change to the PWS operator and to collect a coliform sample before the end of January. |
