| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate over half MCL for 8th and Front well DETAILS: A sample collected Jan 4, 2006, was 6.9 mg?l for nitrate. Follow up samples collected on 1-6 was ND and 1-10 was 2.0 mg/L. The well has been off line since Oct 12, 2005, and water is not being sent to the system. Dennis Nelson and I will meet with the city to determine well reactivation later in the spring 2006. This well has had nitrate over 10 mg/L last fall resulting in well deactivation and PN. ACTION NEEDED: Deactivate EP-E 8th and Front well source | ||
