Details:	SUMMARY: Site visit for coliform problem DETAILS: Site visit for coliform problem. All five routine follow ups 12/29 positive. Public notice forwarded to Joe Carlson. All four homes notified. 1969 well has pitless adapter, sealer to 20, but area around wellhead is flood irrigated pasture. Integrity of casing seal is unknown. Met with operator Mary and discussed problem and possible sources and solutions. ACTION NEEDED: Install raw sample tap to be able to sample directly from source before it enters piping or distribution. Take samples to isolate source of bacteria. Chlorinate system, resample. Taken five routines in January. Get 100 control around wellhead, make sure surface water runs away from casing, discontinue flood irrigation in this area. Pour concrete slab around casing.
