| Details: | SUMMARY: Electrical problem caused well pump to stop working DETAILS: Joe Donaldson called at about 7:30 am to notify DWP that they were out of water due to an electrical problem, which cause the well pump to stop working. He was requesting assistance in finding emergency sources of water. I recommended he call Chuck Kingston with Hillsboro (503-615-6670), or James Gohring with Seaside (503-738-5148). After calliing around, I called Joe back with a number for Water Truck Service (503-682-2723) for bulk transport of potable water and let Joe know that I called Hal Nauman with Clatsop Co (503-338-3600). Joe said he also had calls in to Cedar Canyon (503-861-0796) and Van Deuzen Beverages (503-325-2362). He said he would call around and keep DWP posted. ACTION NEEDED: I recommended he take a coliform sample from their reservoir once filled with the hauled water, but I said that there should not be problem with potable water hauled in. | ||
