| Details: | SUMMARY: Contacted Tom regarding a positive TC sample on 1/25/06 and received by Linn Co. on 1/31/06 ( on call from Tom) DETAILS: Tom said he was notified of the positive coliform sample on 1/25/06 (site 49). The lab took four repeats on 1/27/06 (sites 49, 38, 22 and at the well #4). The lab notified Tom on 1/28/06 about a repeat at site #38 that was positive for E. coli and site #49 that was positive for total coliform. Tom said his phone was not working well and did not get the message until the lab called him on the morning of 1/30/06. Refer to file. ACTION NEEDED: Tom stopped by the office and picked up a copy of the Public Notice for E. Coli and instructions on how to shock chlorinate a well. I told him to hand deliver the notice ASAP and send a copy to DHS- DWP. I recommended that they shock wells1,3 and 4 ( well 2 is disconnected from the system at this time). The lab will take five repeats on 2/6/06 at sites 49,38 and well #3and two others of there choice. Tom will call Linn Co. with lab results of the routines ASAP. | ||
