| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up on TC positive of 1/16/06 DETAILS: Phil said he had been submitted two samples for some time now. I reminded him that he only submits one sample per reporting period. He said he took 5 repeats on 1/23/06. The lab did not call him so he assumes that they were negative. He also mentioned that he shocked the cistern and well. I asked him to notify us before doing that so we could document that action. I also cautioned him about having any residual chlorine in the sample would give a false negative. ACTION NEEDED: Public notice is needed, phone calls may work in a small community. Contact WSHD when batching and shocking. Operator needs to have a residual chlorine gauge when doing that operation to assure customers are not exposed to too much chlorine. Five routines are needed in February. | ||
