| Details: | Coquille has the unusual situation of needing to satisfy the entry point monitoring requirements while using each of their seasonal water sources (the use of the two sources never overlaps). In 2019, there was only one nitrate source submitted - while on Rink Creek, none while using the Coquille River source. Likewise, 2019 was the end of a nine-year monitoring period during which there was no IOC sample submitted representing the Coquille River source. I emailed Ray Doan and Gary Dagit explaining the violations since they will receive the violation postcards. I also suggested they set up a system to remind them to collect during the representative months for each water source. For example every year, they'll need to collect two of the following, one while on each source: • Nitrate • VOCs • DBPs – one in Sept, one in December. |
