| Details: | We contacted the operator responding to an ‘alert’. A recent Nitrate sample taken on 1/28/2020 = 5.3 mg/l (53% of MCL). The water system must increase Nitrate monitoring to quarterly until results verified to be reliably and consistently below MCL (of 10 mg/l). We also discussed incomplete chemical monitoring. Mr. Bond indicated that several tests have been taken; however, results were analyzed by laboratories in Washington State who did not directly report the results to Oregon State. Mr. Bond is working to get the results to the Oregon Drinking Water Services Program. We also discussed scheduling the pending water system survey in 2020. | ||
