| Details: | SUMMARY: Plans for a new well to be used for blending to comply with AS MCL. DETAILS: I spoke with Casey Jones today regarding his plans to drill a new well at the park to be used to blend with the existing two wells in order to reduce the arsenic levels below the new MCL. Casey plans to drill into the shallow alluvial aquifer to get lower arsenic levels. The well location will be about 50 from Westfir Road and 200 from the river (which will exempt them from testing for GWUDI for that source). We discussed plan review requirements and the need for contingency plan for spills on the roadway. ACTION NEEDED: Sent plan review packet to Casey. Await project completion, final approval and conduct on-site inspection. | ||
