| Details: | SUMMARY: Update on L/C Adminstrative Order DETAILS: I spoke with Carolyn Pape today. The lead/copper sampling round collected 2/1/2006 resulted in levels below both the lead and copper action levels. The next round of 10 samples must be collected in the period between July and December 2006. I instructed the system collect the samples in July or 1st week of August 2006. The administrative order for this water system expires July 1, 2006. Therefore a request for extension is needed. I spoke with Joe Carlson, Enforcement Coordinator, and we both agree that an extension until 9/1/2006 is appropriate in order to give them time to collect and report the next round of samples. I instructed Carolyn to submit the request for extension to Joes attention. In addition, Carolyn informed me that the home owner at the previous highest sample location has been collecting the sample incorrectly. She has instructed that homeowner on proper sampling protocol. ACTION NEEDED: Await request for extension to be submitted asap. Await results of next round of samples to be collected prior to 2nd week in August (to allow for sample analysis and reporting). | ||
