| Details: | SUMMARY: Complaint Re: Broken Water Line Repair DETAILS: Bill Goss referred a complaint to me regarding a citizens concerns (Sam McKee 416-2677) about poor procedures used to repair a borken water line something about people being out of water, water heaters destroyed, dirty pipe used no one notified. I called Ron Smith to disucss. For starters, Mr McKee is not on the water system and no other complaints have been received. Ron told me that only a few residents were effected, and all new pipe was disinfected prior to use. Also maintain a residual in the lines. ACTION NEEDED: I told Ron that he should probably flush the line out or notify the affected people to flush their lines out. He should also take a special sample to make sure that the water is okay.
