Details:	SUMMARY: Combining Public Education with Neighboring Exceeding Water Systems DETAILS: As we agreed on the phone earlier today, after reviewing the rules I think it is permissible that the Oak Lodge Water System combine their message in the broadcast portion & some of the written materials of their Lead & Copper Public Education with the program already developed by the water systems of Clackamas River Water-Clairmont, Oregon City & West Linn. Adding Oak Lodges name to the broadcast material and newspaper editorial submissions is OK provided that Oak Lodge fulfills all the requirements in the OAR, specifically the delivery of the Public Education (PE) program [333-061-034(5)(d)]. For example, make sure the 5 largest radio and tv stations and the major newspapers in Oak Lodges particular area are addressed. Also, as you mentioned, Oak Lodge will take sole responsibility for the notifications in the customers utility bills, as well as the pamphlets and/or brochures to particular organizations specified in the rule. This approach is intended to reduce costs and provide the same result if Oak Lodge were to develop its own PE program. ACTION NEEDED: Develop PE while coordinating with other water systems. Send DWP copies.
