| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform routine sample collected 6/22/06. DETAILS: I received an alert for a positive total coliform routine sample collected 6/22/06. I contacted John Leaton on 6/26/2006. John said they have done some work on the system at the end of May including repair of a break of PVC pipe in the pumphouse. They shock chlorinated the system and collected a special sample after flushing the chlorine out. The special sample was collected 6/8 and was absent for coliform. John then collected the routine sample 6/22 which showed the presence of total coliform. John assumes the positive sample is a false positive because of the sampling he did after the repairs were made. He will confirm the results by collecting the four required repeat samples on 6/29/06. He will call me with the results. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of 4 repeat samples. | ||
