| Details: | SUMMARY: Boil Water Notice Rescinded 7/10/2006. DETAILS: Bob Walen called this morning and reported that he spoke again with Delta Environmental Services and found that none of the repeat samples collected 6/29/06 were positive for e. coli as the alert I received on 7/3/06 showed. I contacted the lab and had them fax me the results which confirmed what Bob reported. One out of the four repeats was positive for total coliform only which results in an MCL violation, but not a boil water notice. I confirmed with DMCA staff that the alert was generated in error due to incorrect data entry and proofing. I told Bob he could notify all residents that the boil water notice was rescinded. He did send a copy of the boil notice to me anyway. He shock chlorinated the system on 7/5/06 and is going to take another sample this week. Five routines are required in July. ACTION NEEDED: DMCA will correct the sample results in sdwis. I will forward a copy of the public notice to DMCA for entry. Await results of 5 routine samples in July. | ||
