| Details: | DETAILS: Received another alert on 6/23/06. The Alert states that the repeat samples taken on 6/22/06 tested positive for Total coliform and one tested positive for E. Coli. I drove up to the site the same day and spoke at length about the positive e.coli sample. Informed the Camp Manager (Barb) to not let people drink the water and post signs stating not to drink k the water. I also spoke to Cheryl, she stated that camp staff are aware of the problem. I informed the Camp to keep flushing the system until the level of chlorine is about .5-1 ppm. ACTION NEEDED: Do not drink water with high levels of chlorine, Cheryl Sheppard and the Camp Manager (Barb) stated they will keep signs posted and perform repeat samples as soon as the chlorine level drops to backround levels where the system is usually at. I am still waiting for samples to arrive as of 6/29/06. | ||
