| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive TC routine sample for August 2006 DETAILS: Dave called and left a message 8/4/06 at 11:30 am indicating that the PWS had a positive total coliform routine sample result for August 2006. Dave was looking for follow-up assistance and instruction. I returned call and spoke to Melita (owner) about issue. Melita had already spoken to Dennis Nelson in our Springfield office and receive necessary repeat sampling instructions. In addition, we discussed status of treatment (SW system) and specifically continuous disinfection. No problems noted in disinfection equipment or residuals. Melita believed that positive sample due to improper sampling technique. No history of coliform problems noted with system. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to get additional sample bottles (only two currently available) from Analytical Lab and do necessary repeats on Monday 8/7. Additional requirements pending repeat results. | ||
