| Details: | SUMMARY: The routine sample collected on 7/7/06 tested positiive for total coliform and E.Coli DETAILS: Four repeat samples were taken (spaces 19,26,39 and at the well head). Repeat samples at spaces 26 an 39 were positive for total coliform. After repeat sampling, the well and storage tanks were shock-chlorinated and the tanks were drained to waist to half volume. Public notice was posted prior to confirmation of positive repeat results (this was the operators preference). A copy of the public notice was sent to the State. ACTION NEEDED: Special samples should be taken after the chlorine residual is down to 0 ppm to verify the chlorine shock was effective. Five routine samples need to be collected in the month of August. | ||
