| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform repeat samples from 8/9/06. DETAILS: Travis called to report that the second of his five routine samples for August was positive for total coliform on 8/7/06. He collected the required 4 repeat samples on 8/9/06. The well and the salt tank were absent. The storage tank and the 1st user were positive for total coliform. Public notice is still posted from the MCL violation in July. Travis thinks they still have a problem because they didnt shock chlorinate through the storage tank well enough. They are repeating the shock chlorination procedure and will collect five routine samples in September. Travis and the USFS are considering continuous disinfection processes as well if the problem continues in September. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of five routine samples in September. | ||
