Details: SUMMARY: Wellfield determination for Veneta Well #10 DETAILS: Tom wanted to know if Well #10 could be included as part of a wellfield with the two other active sources used by the water system. It was determined that although Well #10 draws water from the same aquifer as the other two wells it could not be included in a Wellfield Designation with the other two wells due to the fact that the immediate area around Well #10 is zoned for industrial use which is significantly different than land use practices around the other two wells. However it was recommended that the initial monitoring at this well for VOCs SOCs and IOCs be reduced to a single sample due to the common aquifer that all three wells draw water from. See SWA file for more info. ACTION NEEDED: No further action needed.
