Details: | The following email was sent to Mr. Singh to follow-up on the MPA test time and equipment rental: "Mr. Singh, As a reminder: You are required to complete your MPA (Microscopic particulate analysis) test during a wet period sometime very soon! Rain is expected Feb 29- March 10th. Depending on the weather, this may be the last time period you can take the exam with valid results!! You must: 1.Rent Equipment from the labs listed here: https://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/HEALTHYENVIRONMENTS/DRINKINGWATER/SOURCEWATER/Documents/gwudi/MPALabList.pdf The closest lab is in Grants Pass and equipment rentals book in advance so the sooner you contact them the better! I called this morning and she mentioned she has one machine left. *When you rent the equipment from the lab you are required to also submit your letter from Shawn Stevenson (Oregon Health Authority). Copy attached to this email. 2.Here is information about what a MPA is, how to complete it. PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE DOCUMENT UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND HOW TO PERFORM THE TEST. Reach out to the lab for questions on how to run the test. Any variation from the guidelines in this document could result in invalid results and having to repeat the MPA test. https://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/HEALTHYENVIRONMENTS/DRINKINGWATER/SOURCEWATER/Documents/gwudi/mpa-fact-sheet.pdf On a separate note, you should be finishing up your 4-log chlorine residual log for February. Remember to submit the chlorine log sheet to the state email (dwp.dmce@dhsoha.state.or.us). The chlorine log must be received by March 10th to be considered on-time." |
