Details:	SUMMARY: Positive total coliform routine sample DETAILS: Matt called to report a postive total coliform routine sample recently collected from the PWS. Matt is an ARCO representative acting on behalf of the facility leasee. Discussed collecting 4 repeat samples asap -- will be done on Monday 8/21/06 or Tuesday 8/22/06. Discussed repeat sample locations, good sampling technique, and NOT collected future routine samples so late in week. Matt will call next week with results. 8/23/06 - Matt called again to report that 4 repeats were collected as planned on 8/21/06, with 1/4 postive for total coliform. Matt is hiring a contractor to go out to system and do evaluation and do disinfection procedure. Matt looked at website for public notice requirements and template notice. He will be issuing notice asap despite 30 day allowance. Notice will be posted on site, along with hand delivery to users. Matt will send us a copy of public notice as well. Provided Matt with current owner name and phone number as their has been a recent change. Disinfection of system will take place Thursday 8/24, with an additional 4 repeats taken at same sites on Monday 8/28/06. Discussed need for a minimum of 5 routines next month regardless of repeat results. Matt will call again with further sample results and/or info when available. ACTION NEEDED: DWP will process positive sample results and public notice when received. PWS will have a total coliform violation for August 2006. Await further results and info to determine further action.
