| Details: | DETAILS: Received assistance request from Sylvia Bush, Manager of the North Hill Water Corporation in Umatilla County (just north of Hermiston). The corporation operates 2 wells that service 27 lots. Recently the wells have developed capacity issues with run times as low as 12 hours. Previous DWP Circuit Rider work was done with this water system to add chlorine due to coliform hits. The Oregon Economic and Community Development Department has requested assistance with determining funding needs for the North Hill water Corporation. ACTION NEEDED: Action Taken: Met manager on-site to inspect the water system facilities, past records, and current conditions. Also contacted Bill Gloss with the DWP to discuss system needs. Action Needed: Write report detailing water system needs for the north Hill Water Corp, including recommendations regarding water rights and potential new well. | ||
