Details: DETAILS: The Circuit Rider/Program provided services to Cottage grove in June through the completion of a CT study. Bob Strassner completed the field work but had not get completed the written report to summarize and certify the results of the test. The City is in the process of receiving proposals from engineering and construction firms for a design build project to increase the capacity of their Row River water treatment t plan. Mr. Bob Sisson called and asked if we could provide them with results of the test so that the information could be passed on to the design and construction teams. Actions Performed: As the report was not completed, and Bob Strassner was out of the country on vacation, I was unable to locate Bobs notes and project data. Upon reviewing the data, I felt that additional data was necessary to more precisely identify the actual contact time available in the Citys identified contact vessels. In order to certify the results additional data would need to be collected. I prepared a letter summarizing the available data and identified the range of time where the available CT would certainly fall. I also identified the need for additional data and that we would reschedule a time in the coming weeks to obtain that data. Upon receipt of the additional data a final and certified CT report would be prepared and sent to the City. Mr. Sisson said the estimate CT range would be adequate for the current needs and that he would look for the report to follow the collection of additional data. ACTION NEEDED: Schedule a Circuit Rider visit to collect additional data.
