| Details: | SUMMARY: 1 positive repeat total coliform and 1 positive routine total coliform DETAILS: Randy Reitz with Oregon Water Services called on 7/20/06 to let me know the same repeat sample location as the routine taken on 7/17/06 came out positive for total coliform and the other 3 repeats were negative. I told him Id look into whether we could invalidate the sample, but after calling him again on 7/24/06, he said he thought the sampler had taken a downstream sample, but he actually nad not. Randy said he would take a sample at the downstream house because it is a deadend and he thought the water was stagnant and could be flowing back to the original sample location and causing the positive results. I received an alert for a total coliform positive routine sample taken on 8/22/06 and talked to Brenda at Delta Environmental/OWS who said OWS would be flushing the deadend house, issuing Public Notice, and taking more samples. Brenda sent me a copy of the Public Notice. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of the follow-up routine samples. | ||
