| Details: | SUMMARY: SWA Question Regarding Potential Contaminant Source DETAILS: Diane wanted to know if a proposed winery that was going through Yamhill County approval process posed a threat to drinking water quality at Pringle Springs. A review of the SWA Report indicated that the winery and vineyard would fall inside the SWPA for the springs and that the water supply would be susceptible to contamination if no precautionary measures were taken to protect the water supply. A letter was sent to Diane that summarized the SWA review results and stated that we would not recommend that they oppose the land development but rather that they should work with the landowner and Yamhill County to identify and implement reasonable management practices that would effectively reduce the contamination threat. Letter included Best Management Practices for their consideration. See SWA file for further details. ACTION NEEDED: No further action needed. | ||
