| Details: | SUMMARY: Four repeat samples collected on 8-9-06 tested positive for TC DETAILS: Although the alert was not received until 8-14-06, I was already aware of this situation and spoke about it with Chuck Coleman on 8-11-06. Chuck believes that the positive samples could be a result of a broken water ram resulting in a water level in the concrete storage tank that is only 1/3 to 1/2 of normal levels. The water system has been shut down to replace the water ram and shcok-chorinate the system. After this is completed, special samples will be taken to confirm that the water is free of coli form. 9-16-06 - Special samples were submitted on 8-14-06 and 8-15-06 both tested negative for total coli form. ACTION NEEDED: Five routine samples need to be taken in the month of September. | ||
